Walleye Fishnig tips?

Im going Washington State to visit family. I wanted to try walleye fishing while I was down there. I will be in the moses lake area, Just want to know what bait I should use and where to find some good spots. Let me know any other good walleye tips you might have?

I havent been there for a while, but I had my best walleye fishing on Potholes, rather than Moses lake. My best producer was a handtied night crawler harness with 2 hooks and floats with a number 4 Indiana blade, attached to a bottom walker weight. I used mostly glow in the dark, and Chartrues. Once in awhile the best numbers colors were hammered copper blade with hot red beads. There is a large island in Potholes, and an underwater ridge that runs off the east side for several hundred yards going south southeast
the ridge tops out around 13 -16 foot with 25 -30 foot on each side.
I have taken several excess of 25 inches off it, with the larges at 31 inches.
Wow, do I wish I was back there.
