Grand Lake east of Mt.Vernon. It's probably closer to you. Small mouth bass and large trout. Clear Lake is located north of Mt. Vernon. good bass and trout populations. Lake Samish is located north of Mt. Vernon, about 15 miles. mouth bass girl trout, Kokanee salmon, and a species of carp. I have forgotten the case. Lake Whatcom in Bellingham has a good population of small mouth. Fish the north end of Lake to private docks. south end has a good game Kokanee. Terrell Lake is west of Ferndale and supports 10 lbs mouth. cut throat trout, and Blue Gill. Exit 262 and Lake Terrell Road West, turn right. Fazon Lake Rd is in E. Hemmi. Has a big mouth, Gill blue catfish, and trout. The lake is ideal for a small boat top car of oars or motor. Good luck fishing
